This Reservoir is located close to Brainard Lake Recreation Area. So I had actually planned to go to Long lakes located in the Recreation Area. Unware of the new reservation rules. We are required to reserve slots for almost every parking lot inside this Recreation area now. So our choices were to either hike from the parking lot which add 4 miles to our originally planned hike of 2 miles. Nope! Not with my toddler. So the next option was to drive to this Reservoir.

The path to this reservoir was rocky off road. Our car did take a few hits but we made it. It was 2 mile to the lake and we climbed some steps to reach this beautiful lake on top.
