Last week of September. Fall is here. I wanted to do a fall hike without having to travel a lot. I still wanted a scenic spot to go. I choose Old Dillon reservoir trail and it did not disappoint. It was a 2 hour drive considering traffic. There always seems to be a bottleneck near…

Robert F. Clement Park
A beautiful park in Littleton. It has huge spaces for all games, tennis courts, volleyball courts, shelters, skate park and a beautiful lake trail. Clement Park Lake Trail spans 1.4 miles. The lake had a beautiful reflection on the mountains and building. The trail is paved and hence stroller friendly. It was just so perfect. The tennis courts were new!
Lair o’ the bear park
This place has been on my list for so long. We finally went. Wonderful park, lovely time. All I read and what everyone said was true. It is very nice park for a leisure stroll with kids. The main attraction is the bear creek. I wanted to go to a place close to us and…
Barr Lake State Park
This was another spot close to us. This State park was half dry when we went. The part with a boardwalks were sadly so very dry. There were only two parts of this park I enjoyed. One park were the trees which were beautiful for a photo shoot and other was the lake part with…
Wilderness on Wheels W.o.W
As I kept looking for stroller friendly places to go especially hikes, I found this gem. It is run by a non-profit organization and is free to public. It is located in Grant near Guanella and Kenosha Pass. This place was built to be accessible to all. 1 mile of boardwalk all the way up…
Eldorado Canyon State Park
Eldorado Canyon State Park is located near Boulder. The park is pretty small and is crowded during weekends. It has gorgeous canyon views and beautiful stream running along. There are plenty of picnic benches to enjoy this scenic beauty. I chose this place because I had read that it had stroller friendly (accessible) trails. Fowler…
Bingham Lake
It has been H.O.T this summer in Colorado. Since our schedule runs around the baby’s schedule, it limits our outings and places to visit a lot. Evenings are pleasant only after 7 p.m. and it is my son’s bedtime. So we had to resort to early morning walks and outing. Bingham lake is so close…
Hudson Gardens
We have lived in Denver, Colorado for 5 years. I have always been looking at new places to visit, new hikes to try. We are surprised that we have never been to Hudson Gardens before. With the Covid situation we barely go out anymore. I just had a baby in march. Thank god, we were…
Siamese twins trail, Co Springs
Day 2 of sibling time. We went to Garden of the gods. He really enjoyed the rock formations and structures around. Again I wanted some trail which was even smaller than the day before. I choose Siamese twins as it looked fun to see through a window of rocks! We parked near the kissing camels….
Boy Scout Trail, Boulder
My brother was in town. Yay! We had some quality sibling time this weekend. I was not in best of shape to hike anything difficult, actually even moderate. So I was looking for small easy hikes to go on for us. I found the perfect one – Boy Scout Trail and May’s Point. The trail…
